Prospect Silicon Valley Partners with City of San Jose to Launch First Silicon Valley-based
Commercialization Center
SAN JOSE, CA —(May 29, 2014) — Prospect Silicon Valley (ProspectSV), the launchpad for the next generation of technology in urban systems, today announced its inaugural round of founding sponsors for its demonstration center. These leading companies include Applied
Materials Foundation, BMW, Bright Green San Jose, Cisco Systems, Continental, DENSO,
Siemens, Toyota and Wells Fargo. Together, they are committed to collaboratively supporting
ProspectSV in its mission to help commercialize the most innovative new technologies that will transform urban centers into smart, clean and connected cities. In addition, Arup, Cooley,
Faurecia and Transportation Technology Ventures have pledged additional support for
ProspectSV.

ProspectSV is launching its Commercialization Center at the City of San Jose’s new
Environmental Innovation Center. As a partner to the 10 th largest U.S. city, ProspectSV is the first “innovation coordinator” to Silicon Valley, the nation’s most fertile ground for high-tech developments. Through this facility, ProspectSV and its partners provide a full set of the resources emerging companies need to demonstrate, commercialize, and integrate new technology into today’s infrastructure.
