CELL MODEL PROJECT
Today, you will be using your knowledge of the cell to make a model of a cell. You
will have two different formats to choose from. Each will be worth a test grade.
This is a great opportunity to raise your grade!
Your model choices are:
I.
II.
Create a model of a cell using a paper plate and “arts and crafts”
materials
Create a poster of a cell using large paper and pencils/markers or arts &

In both cases, you may choose either a plant or an animal cell. You must indicate
on the project which cell you chose. You must include the following:

If you are doing a poster, you must include functions of each organelle either on
the front of the poster or on the back.
If you are doing the paper plate model, you must include functions of each
