American history.
You may visit the public library for a book
too. When you find it, bring it to me so I can initial your
rubric paper!

This is a threefold assignment….
 You will complete the attached note taking paper as your
read that shows your information that you learned. You may
use additional resources such as encyclopedias, internet or
another book to get more information.

You will also complete a timeline that needs to have the
important events of that person’s life documented on it.
 You will give a one minute infomercial about your life to
the class. As part of your oral presentation remember –
volume, expression, posture and eye contact!
Bonus: You can earn 1 to 2 extra points for bringing any props
or costuming that goes with your character! Look over rubric
carefully so that you get maximum points.
