ACTIVITIES Biographies & hot seating: Read the biographies & ask a pupil to take the role of one ‘character.’ The other pupils ask questions about his/her background, beliefs & behaviour – steering away from facts & focusing more on motivation & feelings. Compare and contrast: What have you learnt about the ideals, beliefs and actions of the five leaders? What are the main similarities and differences between their lives? Debate: Set up a class debate with different groups taking opposing sides of an argument. You could use the question below which relates to the biographies.
