Dear Sir/Madam,
Pakistan Library Association (Punjab) is organizing two days South Asian Libraries Conference
on “Journey Through Print to Digital Information & Beyond” from 12-13 October, 2015 at Lahore
University of Management Sciences (LUMS)1, Lahore.
The purpose of this conference is to address the issues of ownership, planning, organization and
development of the libraries in South Asian Libraries. The transformation of knowledge from print to
digital and other formats as well as the different methods of information handling & dissemination will be
discussed. This conference on a unique theme will be held in Lahore having the best accommodation
facilities in Pakistan. The conference will provide an opportunity to participants to interact and share their
experiences.
A large number of national & international researchers, practitioners and academicians will
contribute their research papers in the above mentioned South Asian Libraries Conference. Around 400
library and information science professionals, educationists, dignitaries, library friends, legislators and
public opinion makers will participate in the conference from all over Pakistan and abroad. It is an
excellent opportunity for the library & Information Science Professionals to get exposure from this unique
international exposure.
