NARAYANA MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL MYSORE GETS EMPANELLED
FOR YESHASVINI SCHEME PATIENTS
Mysore: Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Mysore, announced its empanelment with
Yeshasvini scheme to offer tertiary level healthcare services to patients under this scheme.
Yeshasvini is one of the largest self-funded healthcare schemes in the country which was
introduced by the state government to the co-operative society members of Karnataka.
Yeshasvini is a micro health insurance scheme that was the brain-child of Dr. Devi Shetty,
Chairman, Narayana Health, which was implemented by the State Government of Karnataka.
A member and his/ her family registered under any of the rural co-operative societies are
entitled to treatment in any of the hospitals empanelled with Yeshasvini scheme. The cooperative societies include cultural development society, plantation labourers socieety,
representatives of farmers, rural journalists, multi-purpose cooperative society, rural self-help
groups and transgender minorities.
Ms. Archana Dhiman, Facility Director, Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Mysore said,
“Yeshasvini Scheme is a noble initiative and is a great boon to the people of rural Karnataka to
avail quality healthcare services at a very low cost in empanelled private hospitals. This is a step
towards revolutionizing rural healthcare. Network hospitals are screened for several criterions
by Government bodies, prior to the empanelment in order to ensure that quality healthcare is
rendered and we are glad that Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Mysore has been
recognized for the same.”
The member and beneficiaries can avail medical services for various specialties including
cardiology, cardiac surgery, surgical gastroenterology, obstetrics, gynecology, urology,
neurosurgery, orthopedics (including joint replacements), general surgery, pediatric surgery
and neonatal care. The cost for each surgery varies according to the specialties ranging from 30
to 60 percent discount.
The target districts which will be able to avail services at the hospital will include Mandya,
Hassan,
Chamrajnagar,
Kodagu
and
the
neighbouring
areas.
Narayana Multispeciality Hospital Mysore is a low-cost hospital with tertiary care facilities,
which offers quality healthcare services in various super specialities. Empanelled with
