Jaipur, August 17, 2014: Narayana Multispeciality Hospital Jaipur in association with Rajasthan
Orthopedic Surgeons Association (ROSA) today organized a live surgery workshop on ‘Primary &
Complex Total Knee Replacement’. Over 70 orthopedic surgeons from Rajasthan and other parts of the
country participated in the day-long workshop that encompassed live surgeries, case discussion and
lectures on complex primary Total Knee Replacement (TKR) by renowned faculties in the country. Dr.
Aaron BYNG, Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon at Pinderfields General Hospital in UK and Dr. Buddha Deb
Chatterjee from Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals in Kolkata were key speakers and also performed the
surgeries along with Orthopaedic Surgeons from Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Jaipur.
Commenting about the workshop, Dr. Mala Airun – Medical Superintendent at Narayana

Replacement Surgery and this workshop with participation from doctors of national and international

This is the second live surgery workshop being organized by Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Jaipur.
The workshop aims to create a platform for orthopaedic surgeons in Rajasthan to be exposed to
international best practices and techniques while discussing various cases studies.

Total knee replacement (TKR) is a surgical procedure to treat knee joint diseases, which is replaced
