Pandora
Character Traits: Perfect, artistic, talented gardener, secretive, curious, Summary:
Zeus was so angry at mankind for having supported Prometheus stealing the fire that he
wanted to truly punish the humans. He decided to develop a tricky scheme, so he sent the Gods
out to construct a perfect woman (Pandora). Then he sent Pandora off to Epimetheus,
Prometheus’s brother, to be married. Epimetheus thought Zeus had forgiven his family for all
the evil doings that his brother had committed. However, Zeus pretended to care, yet really he
was seeking everlasting revenge and retribution.
Pandora was overcome with curiosity and opened the golden box, which she was directed not
to open. Here she released all the evils of the world except FOREBODING, which is a trait that
allows a person to know his/her fate. The biggest problem if she had released FOREBODING…..
WOULD HAVE BEEN PEOPLE HAVING NO HOPE....
However, Pandora did not release FOREBODING and we still have a little hope left in the world
