Mystery Book Project
Here it is!!!!! Your mystery book report. Please check with me to make sure your
book is in fact, a mystery. Solving a mystery is like solving a
puzzle. So, you are going to create a puzzle. You must have at
least ten pieces in your puzzle. Each piece is to have a drawing on
it which represents a clue from you mystery. You will need to
color both sides of your puzzle paper. One side will have the
drawing of a scene from the book. The other side has 10 mini
pictures that represent each clue.
Then you are to write a list of the 10 clues along with a title page
and attach these to the puzzle (in a ziplock). When you are finished you are
required to present your puzzle to the class. Explain the mystery. Tell the title and
author. Explain what clues are represented in your puzzle. Rate your puzzle from
a 1-10 and explain to the class why you rated the book the way you did. Your
report will be due no later than February 22nd, 2016.
EXTRA CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU DRESS AS A CHARACTER FROM YOUR BOOK
THE DAY OF YOUR PRESENTATION!!!!!!





Puzzle itself: 50 points (25 points for each side)
List of Clues: 5 points
Title Page: 5 points
Oral presentation: 15 points
o Explain the mystery and the clues: 5 points
o Rate your book: 5 points
o Who is the author? What is the title?: 5 points
