Saturday 5th July – Morning & Afternoon Programmes 10am Parramatta RSL The Celebration Weekend will commence with a Gathering at the RSL. Here will be the opportunity to meet and greet family members. Find out who’s who in the zoo – or at least in the Willis Family- and discover your place in the family tree! The very special Celebration Cake will be cut at this time. Family Memorabilia and photographs will be on display. Free parking is available in the RSL car park or leave your car behind and catch the free Loop Bus which departs every 10 mins between 8am and 4pm. The Loop Bus stop for the RSL is Macquarie Street West. See bus route in red on attached map. 12 noon in Parramatta Park BYO lunch to eat in the Park. BYO chairs/rugs. Celebration photos will be taken by local photographer Peter Chorley. Family Groups and Generational photos will be captured for memories of the day. For the young and young-at-heart, there will be old fashioned picnic games. There are many historical walks of interest including the 40 minute Park Walk past Old Government House, a walk along Church St to see the site of Joseph and Rosetta’s house, plus other walks to view St John’s Cathedral where Joseph and Rosetta were married and St Patrick’s Cemetery where they are buried.
