Dear Parents/Carers,
NACE Award
I am absolutely delighted to inform you that Newton Farm School has received the
NACE Challenge Award for provision of more able and talented pupils. The National
Association for More Able Children in Education have assessed the work that Newton
Farm School does with its more able pupils and has congratulated us on receiving the
award for the third time. This means that were are celebrating a decade of success.
We have been informed that we are the fourth school in the country to have received
this award for the third time. This is indeed a tremendous achievement for our school
and I would like to thank all the staff, pupils and parents for their continued support in
this area. My particular thanks go to Mrs Radia who has been the leader and champion
for promoting provision for more able pupils over a period of ten years. She has
worked very hard to develop this area within our school.

As the school grows in size we have decided to name each of the classes according to a
tree. Since our school emblem is a tree we felt that it was pertinent to keep this theme
which supports growth and development of every individual at Newton Farm School.
