items. The detailed specifications, terms & Conditions for the items can be downloaded from the
jntuk.edu.in. The sealed tenders should reach the undersigned on or before 5.00 pm on 01.03.2013.
JNTUK reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason
whatsoever.

The sealed tenders, mentioning clearly “Food Testing Lab Equipment” on the cover
along with the Tender No., Name of equipment, should be addressed and delivered to:

Separate tenders should be submitted for each equipment as per the specifications
mentioning the additional features, if any.
The completely filed in tender documents must reach the Registrar, JNTUK, Kakinada,
on or before 01.03.2013, 5.00 pm.
The tender will be opened on 06.03.2013 at 14:30 hrsby the undersigned/his nominee
in the presence of the committee members and available tenderers or their
representatives.
The JNTUK, Kakinada reserves the right either to select or reject certain terms (single or
multiple units)in the schedule without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
Incomplete tenders, amendments and additions to tenders after opening or late tenders are
liable to be ignored, and rejected
The tenderer shall be responsible for the delivery of the material, its successful
demonstration, and onsite training.
A Demand Draft for Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) drawn in favour of the
“Registrar, JNTUK, Kakinada” towards application fee(nonrefundable) must
accompany the tender(s) from each tenderer.
A Demand Draft for an amount, as specified for each equipment, drawn in favour of the
“Registrar, JNTUK, Kakinada” towards refundable EMD must also accompany the
tender. The tender without EMD will be rejected. The EMD for the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded.
JNTUK, Kainada has been registered with DSIR, GOI and exempted from customs and
central excise.
The prices should be inclusive of packing, forwarding, insurance, delivery at destination
site and all taxes(FOR Kakinada).
The tenders should be valid for acceptance up to a period of 3 months. The tenderers
should be ready to extend the validity, if required.
Tenderer should enclose their offers with full details of equipment with full
documentation / descriptive literature / leaflets indicating special features of their
equipment or systems.
Tenders submitted after due date/time will not be considered and no intimation will be
sent in this regard.
The Registrar, JNTUK, Kakinada does not bind himself to accept the lowest bid on any
tender and reserves the right of accepting the whole or any part of the tender or portion
of the quantity offered and the tenderer shall supply the same at the rate quoted.




Acceptance of the tender shall be communicated by letter of acceptance or formal
acceptance of the tender to the successful tenderer.
Any specific queries, communications, and references should be made only to, The
Registrar, JNTUK, Kakinada.
The Tenderer should produce copy of service Tax Certificate and PAN Card.
All Tenderers should give a warranty declaration as detailed below:
1. We shall abide by all the specifications, terms and conditions listed in the tender
Notice and tender documents.
2. We warrant that everything to be supplied by us hereunder shall be free from all
defects and faults in material, workmanship and shall be of the highest quality and
material of the type ordered, shall be in full conformity with the specifications.
3. Any deviations in the material and/or the specifications from the accepted terms are
liable to be rejected and the tenders need to supply all the goods in the specified form
to the satisfaction/specifications specified in the order/contract and demonstrated at
their own cost.
