Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our exciting heart and lung transplant program that is greatly expanding! Under the supervision and direction of the Program Directors of the Lung Transplant Program with collaboration and oversight from the Transplant Center Sr. Administrative Director and in accordance with the rules and regulations of Massachusetts governing Nurse Practitioner (NP) and Physician Assistant (PA) practice, the NP or PA will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of care of potential transplant recipients and living donors (as applicable) predominantly during the transplant and post-transplant phases, however will also work collaboratively and may provide care to patients during the pre-transplant phases of transplantation PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Clinical Practice Transplant Referral and Evaluation Pre-Transplant Waiting Period Transplant Phase Post-Transplant Discharge Phase Administrative and Financial QUALIFICATIONS: Current NP or PA licensure in Massachusetts. Current certification an NP or PA and authorization to practice in Massachusetts. Master's degree required in nursing or Physician Assistant Studies. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
