Jack Young, Senior Investment Manager Qualcomm Ventures Qualcomm Incorporated Jack heads the Qualcomm Life Fund at Qualcomm Ventures. His investment interest is focused on the emerging wireless health space including wellness and fitness, chronic disease care, remote diagnosis and monitoring, and health informatics. Jack currently manages and actively serves as a board observer at wireless health companies including AliveCor and Telcare. In addition, he serves as board observer at PixSense, Jana (formerly known as TxtEagle), uCIRRUS, Validity and Visage Mobile. Prior to Qualcomm Life and Qualcomm Ventures, Jack was EVP/US Country Manager at ZTE who helped to establish ZTE's U.S. market presence. He was a sales and marketing executive at Nokia following the acquisition of Amber Networks where he was founding Assistant Vice President of Marketing. Early in his career, he held marketing and business development positions with 3Com, GDC, and Nortel. Jack earned a MSEE from University of Calgary and a M.B.A. from McGill University.
