Samantha Craig de Vient Samantha Craig de Vient serves as a Senior Analyst in the Government Affairs department of QUALCOMM International. Over the past four years Samantha has worked to advance QUALCOMM’s regulatory policy agenda in developing markets around the world. She currently manages QUALCOMM’s participation in the International Telecommunication Union’s Development (ITU-D) Sector, where she serves as Rapporteur for ITU-D Study Question 20-1/2 which is examining broadband access technologies for developing countries. Samantha is also very active in growing and promoting QUALCOMM’s Wireless Reach™ initiative, which is a program focused on generating sustainable projects and partnerships that utilize third generation wireless solutions to enhance economic and social development in fundamental sectors of underserved communities. Ms Craig de Vient received her Master’s Degree from the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California San Diego with a concentration in international management and the Latin American political system. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California Santa Barbara in Global and International Studies with a regional specialization in South East Asia.
