Hello Room __ Families,
Teacher Appreciation week starts Monday, May 2nd. Everyday that week,
room 9 will present Mrs. ____________ with a small token of appreciation.
Monday: Please bring one piece of fruit to add to a fruit basket for her to enjoy
over the week. And please have your child wear an orange shirt, or a shirt with
orange in it. We will be taking a group picture to give her at the end of the
week.
Tuesday: Alphabet Appreciation! Every child has been assigned a letter of the
alphabet and they should find a word that starts with that letter that describes
Mrs. ___________. They will read their word and any additional description to
the class. Please have your child bring it to school on Tuesday morning.
Wednesday: A pot of flower pens. Have your child color each side of the
flower and return to school by Tuesday in the attached envelope. I will add a
picture of your child to the center of their flower and attach the flowers to pens
to make her a pretty bouquet!
Thursday: Breakfast on us! She will be treated to her favorite coffee from
Starbucks and a breakfast treat.
Friday: We will present her with a cookbook of our recipes! Mrs. __________
loves food from around the world, as well as peanut butter & chocolate! By
Wednesday, May 4th, please email me one of your recipes that she might be able
to try at home. And the cookbook will have a picture of our children wearing
Mrs. _________’s favorite color!
