DECREE NO. 8 OF 2015
RENEWING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF
THE PUBLIC AUTHORITY FOR CIVIL INFORMATION
Having seen the Constitution; and
Law Decree No. 15 of 1979 on Civil Services and all amending laws thereof; and
Law No. 32 of 1982 on Civil Information Systems; and
The Decree promulgated on 7th Jumad Al Awal, 1399 corresponding to 4th April, 1979
on Civil Service System and all amending laws thereof; and
Decree No. 209 of 2011 annexing the Public Authority for Civil Information to the
Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; and
Pursuant to the proposal made by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; and
After ratification by the Council of Ministers,
Hereby decrees:
ARTICLE 1
The appointment of Musaed Mahmoud Hussain Al Assoussi, the Director General of
the Public Authority for Civil Information shall be renewed in the Grade of
Undersecretary for a further period of four years with effect from 1.1.2015.
ARTICLE 2
The Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs shall implement this Decree which shall be
published in the Official Gazette.

RENEWING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE

ARTICLE 1
The appointment of Abdulla Salem Al Ali Al Sabah, the Assistant Secretary General of
the Council of Ministers shall be renewed in the Grade of Undersecretary for a further
period of four years with effect from 16.2.2015.

The Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs shall implement this Decree which shall be

APPOINTING A MEMBER IN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
PUBLIC AUTHORITY FOR YOUTH & SPORTS
Having seen the Constitution; and
Law Decree No. 43 of 1992 establishing the Public Authority for Youth & Sports; and
Decree No. 303 of 2012 transferring the Supervision on the Public Authority for Youth
& Sports; and
Decree No. 8 of 2013 establishing the Office of the Minister of State for Youth Affairs;
and
Decree No. 236 of 2013 appointing members in the Board of Directors of the Public
Authority for Youth & Sports; and
Decree No. 114 of 2014 appointing members in the Board of Directors of the Public
Authority for Youth & Sports; and
Pursuant to the proposal made by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; and
After ratification by the Council of Ministers,
Hereby decrees:
ARTICLE 1
Hussain Abdulla Hussain Al Maksid shall be appointed a Member in the Board of
Directors of the Public Authority for Youth & Sports instead of Mr. Yusuf Salman Al
Roomi, for the remaining term of his predecessor in the Board.
ARTICLE 2
The Minister of State for Youth Affairs shall implement this Decree which shall be
effective as from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.

the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and amending certain provisions of the Decree
No. 266 of 2006 establishing the Central Authority for Information Technology; and
Pursuant to the proposal made by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; and
After ratification by the Council of Ministers,
Hereby decrees:
ARTICLE 1
The appointment of Abdul Lathif Suraiha Abdul Rahman Al Suraiha shall be renewed
in the post of the Director General of the Central Authority for Information Technology
in the Grade of Undersecretary for a further period of four years with effect from
11.4.2015.

The appointment of Ali Hussain Al Yuha shall be renewed in the post of the Secretary
General for the National Council for Culture, Arts & Letters in the Grade of
Undersecretary for a further period of four years with effect from 16.2.2015.

MINISTERIAL RESOLUTION NO. 263 OF 2015
AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF
MINISTERIAL RESOLUTION NO. 183/ 1980
The Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior,
Having seen the Law Decree No. 67/1976 on Traffic and its amendments; and
Ministerial Resolution No. 81/1976 issuing the executive bylaw of Traffic Law, as
amended; and
Ministerial Resolution No. 183/1980 and its amendments; and
Pursuant to the proposal made by the Undersecretary of the Ministry; and
Hereby decides:
ARTICLE 1
Article of 3 of the above Ministerial Resolution No. 183/1980 shall be amended to read
as follows:
(The parking of vehicles in the Streets referred to in Article 1 of this Resolution for
more than two hours during the period from 7.00 a.m. upto 10.00 p.m. shall be
prohibited, and this banning shall extend during the holy month of Ramadan to be from
7.00 a.m. to 12.00 mid-night)
ARTICLE 2
The Undersecretary of the Ministry shall implement this Resolution which shall be
effective as from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
