DECREE NO. 82 OF 2014
APPOINTING A NON-RESIDENT AMBASSADOR
Having seen the Constitution; and
Law No. 21 of 1962 on Diplomatic Career & Consular Service and all amending laws
thereto; and
Pursuant to the proposal made by the First Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of
Foreign Affairs ; and
After ratification by the Council of Ministers,
Hereby decides:
ARTICLE 1
Sadiq Mohammed Marafie - the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of
Austria - shall over and above his duties be appointed as a Non-resident Ambassador of
the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Slovenia.
ARTICLE 2
The First Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Foreign Affairs shall implement this
Decree which shall be operative the date of its promulgation and it shall be published in
the Official Gazette.

DECREE NO. 83 OF 2014
APPOINTING THE UNDERSECRETARY OF
THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS
Having seen the Constitution; and
Law Decree No. 15 of 1979 on Civil Service and all amending laws thereof; and
The Decree promulgated on 7th Jumad Al Awal, 1399 corresponding to 4th April, 1979
on Civil Service System and all amending Decrees thereof; and
Pursuant to the proposal made by the Minister of Public Works; and
After ratification by the Council of Ministers,
Hereby decrees:
ARTICLE 1
Awatif Sulaiman Dawood Al Ghunaim shall be appointed as the Undersecretary of the
Ministry of Public Works.
ARTICLE 2
The Minister of Public Works shall implement this Decree and it shall be effective as
from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.

APPOINTING AN ASSISTANT UNDERSECRETARY AT
THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS
Having seen the Constitution; and
Law Decree No. 15 of 1979 on Civil Service and all amending laws thereof; and
The Decree promulgated on 7th Jumad Al Awal, 1399 corresponding to 4th April, 1979
on Civil Service System and all amending Decrees thereof; and
Pursuant to the proposal made by the Minister of Public Works; and
After ratification by the Council of Ministers,
Hereby decrees:
ARTICLE 1
Waleed Ghanem Farraj Al Ghanem shall be appointed in the grade of an Assistant
Undersecretary at the Ministry of Public Works.
ARTICLE 2
The Minister of Public Works shall implement this Decree and it shall be effective as
from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.

RENEWING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL
OF THE FIRE BRIGADE DEPARTMENT
Having seen the Constitution; and
Law No. 23 of 1968 on Police Force and amending laws thereto; and
Law Decree No. 15 of 1979 on Civil Services and all amending laws thereof; and
Law No. 36 of 1982 on Firemen as amended by Law No. 37 of 2002; and
The Decree promulgated on 7th Jumad Al Awal, 1399 corresponding to 4th April, 1979
on Civil Service System and all amending laws thereof; and
The Civil Service Council Resolution No. 3 of 2003 on the Jobs System of Firemen and
the amended Resolutions thereto; and
Pursuant to the proposal made by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs; and
After ratification by the Council of Ministers,
Hereby decrees:
ARTICLE 1
The appointment of Brig. Khaled Yusuf Mohammed Al Tarkeeth, the Deputy Director
General of the Fire Brigade Department shall be renewed for a further period of four
years with effect from 26.4.2014.
ARTICLE 2
The Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs shall implement this Decree and it shall be
published in the Official Gazette.
