Dear parents/carers
To immerse ourselves in Spanish art and culture, Swift class will be visiting the Tate
Modern to investigate the works of Spanish artists Miro and Picasso. Pablo Picasso
had enormous influence on 20th century art and worked in an unprecedented variety of
styles and Joan Miro is renowned as one of the greatest Surrealist painters.

Leaving school at 9.30 am and returning by 3.30 pm
Packed lunch and a drink (sweets, glass bottles and cans are not allowed,
nor are any products containting nuts, such as peanut butter, biscuits etc

Children should be in full uniform (appropriate to the conditions in which they will be out
and about) and comfortable shoes.
We will require parent volunteers for this trip. If you are able to help, please complete
and return the slip below to the class teacher by Friday 15th January.
