programme over the past year and I wish you every success at this event.
She is passionate and enthusiastic about teaching and she will make an excellent teacher.
This said, we will miss her warm personality and all she adds to both the classroom and the staff room. She is a ray
of sunshine. It is our hope she will return to us some time in the future in the role of teacher.
Headteacher for the day
nd
On Thursday the 2 July we look forward to welcoming our new Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to The
Curzon CE Primary School. Miss Mia Grigoriu will be the Headteacher and Miss Caitlin Grigoriu will be the Deputy
Headteacher. The two Miss Grigoriu will be leading collective worship that morning, signing letters, looking at what
is happening in all years and enjoying dinner in the staff room with the rest of the staff. We hope they will enjoy their
day.
Thank you from Uganda
A big thank you to Mrs. Pollock for having a plant sale outside her house for several weeks. The amazing total
raised was £495. WOW! This money was raised to send to our partner school in Uganda, The Good Shepherd
School. We are looking forward to seeing their own school building being built over the next few months.

A Great Big Thank you from all at The Curzon CE Primary School to:
The PTFA, for all their hard work organizing events to help the school buy resources, but also helping give our
children opportunities and treats.
The many parents that support us and to those who give of their time to help in school. Mrs. Pegg and Mrs. Hill for
their help with the gardening club from Year 1 and Year 4. Mr. Small for the ‘odd jobs’ he does around school.
The governors who give a lot of their valuable time and skills voluntarily to help run the school in many ways, often
unseen but so necessary.
