JUNE NEWSLETTER
We belong to each other as we belong to you God ever faithful.
By morning and by night may your name be on
our lips, a blessing to all our days; so may kindness and patience be ever among us,
a hunger for justice, and songs of thankfulness in all we do.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen

DRESS CODE FOR STUDENTS
With the beautiful warm summer weather finally here, we remind our students to dress appropriately
for the weather and to adhere to our dress code policy in the student agenda. Please remember for our boys
and girls, no muscle shirts or spaghetti strap tops. A good rule of thumb is the 3 finger width for the shoulder of
your shirt. Don’t forget the sunscreen and hats as well. We appreciate your support.

VOTER INFORMATION
Municipal elections will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014
Are you recorded as an eligible elector for the upcoming municipal and school board elections?
Voting for your School Board Trustee is important. Trustees develop and implement recommendations for
educational programs, budgets, facilities and property issues, and policies and procedures that govern their
Board’s operation.
You are registered to vote for Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario trustees if your direction of
school support status is listed as the English Separate school board. A new tool from the Municipal Property
Assessment Corporation (MPAC) allows voters to view and update their elector information, including their
direction of school support.
Updating this information will help to ensure that the Voter’s Lists, prepared by each municipality, are accurate
and up-to-date in preparation for municipal and school board elections occurring this Fall. Visit voterlookup.ca
to confirm and update your elector details. For more information, please contact MPAC at 1-866-296-6722.
