Monopill – Rows

Standard sowing unit with

Finger press wheel

Tandem sowing unit

Mulch sowing unit with

Monoflex press wheel

Monopill – Sowing Heart

The seed disc is rotating through the second patented seed chamber

The disc picks only one seed at a time, additional seeds are wiped off

Due to the centrifugal force, the seed remains in the seed cell throughout its rotation

With the seeding heart positioned deep inside the seeding coulter, the seed drop height is only 3cm

3cm

Monopill – Sowing Heart

The seed disc rotates counter clockwise

(U), in opposite to the driving direction (F)

With a seed distance down the row of

20cm, the circumference speed of the disc

= drive forward speed => Zero deposit

Standard seed spacing of 18 - 24cm with seed disc A4

Up & down movements of the parallelogram have no effect on the seed disc/spacing due to a specially designed chain guide

20 cm

Zero deposit

Monopill S – Mechanical Drive

Working widths between 3.00m - 9.00m

• The basic element with chain driven sowing heart for normal & mulch seeding

• Depth adjustment in steps of 0,5cm

• Integrated ball bearing drivelines into the parallelogram linkage for a consistent seed disc turning

• Visus – Opto-electronic control

• Control of each unit by an Opto transmitter

Tramlining

Monitor seed/ha, total worked area

• Electronic hectare meter

Monopill e-drive II

Working widths between 3.00m - 12.00m

• The enhanced element based on the same row concept

• Each sowing heart is driven by an electric motor

• Infinite adjustment of sowing distances for optimised seed population (from 12.5 – 25 cm)

Monopill – Press Wheels

Row setting = Coulter

– intermediate press wheel – coverer – conical press wheel

1. V-shaped coulter opens the furrow

2. The intermediate press wheel firms seed into the furrow

3. The coverers put some more earth on the furrow

4. The conical press wheel consolidate the earth at the side more than in the middle

=> The amount of covering soil (B) is similar to that of the sowing depth (A)

 Ideal for wet and loamy soils

Monopill – Press Wheels

Row setting = Coulter

– coverer – finger press wheel

1. V-shaped coulter opens the furrow

2. The coverers put some more earth on the furrow

3. The finger press wheel consolidate the earth in the middle more than at the sides

=> The covering soil (B) is lower than the sowing depth (A).

 A "Micro climate" then protects the germinated plant

Monopill S/ e-drive II – Electronics

Introduction: tramlines in Sugar Beet

Reasons for setting up tramlines:

Opportunity to save sugar beet seeds (cost of 100.000 sugar beet seeds: 150

€)

• Ease follow-up operations e.g. fertilising and spraying with less crop damage

• Opportunity to drive over the sugar beet field without special cultivation tyres

=> reduce handling costs

• Reduction of losses at the edge of rows => uniform root size

• Possibility to reduce soil compaction and damage of the earth structure => use of floatation tyres possible

• Reduce the danger of erosion in the tractor wheel tracks

Visus – The Opto - Electronic Control

• Monitoring of seeds/ha

Control of up to 12 sowing units

Electric hectare meter

• Summary of worked total area

• Opto transmitter with plug connection

• Automatic tramlining system up to 4 clutches (set of 2 or set of 4 clutches)

• Service function

Monopill with e-drive II

Monopill e-drive II with IsoMatch Tellus

• All standard tramlines are programmed in Monopill e-drive II control box (also chaotic systems)

• Seed spacing adjustment during work

• The amount of seed at edge rows can be reduced or increased stepwise

• Opto-electronic sensors counting the seeds and advising of unit problems (e.g. empty hopper)

• Row by row shut-off  Ready for GEOcontroll® IsoMatch

• On board diagnostic system to help locate failures

Tellus

• Ready for GEOseed ®

Monopill e-drive II – IsoMatch Tellus

The next generation universal ISOBUS

Terminal

IsoMatch Tellus

• Two ISOBUS interfaces in one terminal

• Multifunctional ergonomic design

• ISOBUS Shortcut Button

The IsoMatch Tellus is the first ISOBUS with the capability to operate different machines on 2 screens through 1 terminal, without the need to constantly toggle between screens.

GEOcontroll ® - the automatically row switch-off, steered by GPS

Steered by GPS one row after another is switched off at the heads land

Saving seeds

No place in field with doubles or triples

• No missings  no free spots for weeds in the field

• Easy handling for driver

• Full concentration of driver on field conditions and turning process

27

GEOseed ® - the intelligent way of precise placing of seeds

Seeding in parallel and diamond pattern

The patented two-dimension placement control allows seeding in parallel or diamond patterns

By adding a precise GPS signal (RTK) in combination the sowing heart extension synchronisation beyond machine width is ensured by GPS co-ordinates.

Positive effects of GEOseed

® can be reached with close row sowing (37,5 – 45 cm) and seed distances wider than 18-20 cm

Further information about the possibilities and necessary needs for GEOseed you find in GEOseed presenation!
