Peer Mediation

PEER MEDIATION is the process of resolving
conflicts with the assistance of a neutral third party, trained peer
mediators.




53 (100%) cases mediated with an agreement
Top issues to be mediated were:
• verbal harassment
• rumors
• relationship between peers

Disputant Follow-up Evaluations
- 98% of disputants were very satisfied or satisfied with
the agreement reached at the mediation session.
- 99% of disputants felt the problem was settled after mediation.
- 96% of disputants felt the mediators were very helpful or
helpful in solving the problem.
- 96% of disputants felt they learned to become a better
communicator and problem-solver by participating in the
peer mediation process.
- 94% of disputants felt that the mediation program is a
worthwhile service for the school.
