A funding facility which would serve as a
budgetary supplement to DepED
Aim
◦ To improve the quality of and equity in
basic learning outcomes of disadvantaged
IP and Muslim communities


Provide DepED with financing resources
and technical assistance to its planning,
management and delivery of quality
education
Emphasizes the need to address the gaps
identified in the basic education sector
◦ High drop-out rates
◦ Poor participation rates
◦ Low completion rates
◦ Low NAT achievement levels


◦ To ensure that DepED
