COMPUTER APPLICATION
A computer is an electromic device which inputs data stores the results and produces the information .
Data is entered into a computer system using input devices such as keyboard ‘mouse.
Data is processed into information using a processor.
Storage of the result is done temporary in random access memory (RAM) and permanently stored on
the hard disk.
Information is produced from a computer system using output devices such as monitor, projector,
printer etc.
A computer system as the following components
1. Hardware, these are the tangible components of a computer system
2.These are the intergible components of a computer system
3.Data or information, data are the raw facts without meaning to the user while information is
processed data with meaning to a user
4.People, These are the users of the computer system
5.Procedures,These are a series of steps a user goes through when using a computer system
