Job Description:
 Seeking a Buyer to handle purchasing and contract consulting for various departments within
the Company, subsidiaries and affiliates.
 Will provide cross-functional program support, supplier sourcing/qualification,
preparation/analysis of requests for proposals, purchase order preparation, financial and
business analysis, recommendations, on-going supplier management and support the
Company’s diversity spending initiatives.
Duties include:
 Supplier management
 Cost/price analysis of supplier proposals
 Processing of purchase orders
 Lead strategic sourcing initiatives
 Analysis of industry trends and current business climate
 Negotiate contracts that require a basic understanding of contract law
 Lead and/or participate as team member in contract negotiations including the development of
negotiation plans, facilitate negotiations and utilize experience to monitor the dynamics of any
particular negotiation with the ability to re-evaluate on-going issues and develop counter
measures to obtain favorable results for the Company.
Requirements: (MUST Haves)
 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance,
Procurement or Supply Chain Management
 Procurement or related field or equivalent work experience required
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
 Proficiency in MS Office software required
 Consistent proactive approach with customers required
 Ability to work independently required
 Ability to adapt to changes in processes and procedures required
 Completeness, timeliness and accuracy with details required
 Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively support and work with a wide range of internal
customers as well as external issuing banks and merchants required
 Multi-tasking skills and the ability to contribute in a team environment required
 Strong decision making, problem solving, and organization skills required
 Experience managing over $1M spend


Clear understanding of legal terms and conditions to incorporate into contract negotiations
preferred
Working knowledge of Peoplesoft and Coupa Purchasing modules desired
