Converting video files in MP4 format to AVI
Before Beginning make sure you have copied the video clips from the flip camera to the Global drive
G:\_Collaborate
1. Open Format Factory
Open Global Drive G:\_FormatFactory
Open FormatFactory.exe
2. Select the icon for All to AVI
3. Click on Browse button and set the output folder to the same folder on the Global Drive that saved the original clips.
Then click on the Add File button to select the MP4 files.
4. Select the mp4 files to convert to AVI. You can select more than one file at a time. Click Open.
5. Click OK
6. Click Start
7. When the files are converted to AVI and saved on the Global drive, the Convert State column will read
“completed”.
The WMV files are now ready to be imported into Windows MovieMaker.
