Old Testament – The forty six books of the Bible that record the history of the Jewish people. Polytheism – Belief in many Gods. Pentateuch – The first 5 books of the Bible. Religion – Beliefs and practices followed by those committed to a faith. Salvation – Liberation from sin and eternal union with God in heaven. Scripture – The Old and New Testament that makes up the Bible. The Fall – The biblical revelation about the original sin and evil in the world. Trinity – The central Christian mystery and dogma that there is one God in three persons: Fahter , Son, and Holy Spirit.
