Skinner-Jones Hall: Programming and Schematic Design: Programming, Schematic Design, feasibility study to re-purpose this building. Program with other buildings having related departments (Math, Engineering, Health, etc.). Tentative Schedule: RFQ for Consultants August 2013 Short List for interview September 2013 Programming February 2014 Schematic Design March 2015 Design Development Sept. 2015 Select CM July 2015 Construction Docs. February 2015 Construction Phase I Utilities in Dec. 2015 Phase II Bldg. 4 and Addition Sept. 2016. Phase III Bldg. 3 May 2017 Changes from last month: Construction Documents were reviewed at 50% for an updated cost estimate. Meetings were held with all user groups to confirm that there are no major changes contemplated. Current construction estimate is below the $25 Million limit. 2. Department of Sculpture Move to Building 6: Changes from last month: Project Completed 3. Coggin Student Services in Bldg. 10: The project calls for the repurposing of the rat lab on the first floor of Bldg. 10 into offices for the Coggin Student Services function. February 2016 Construction April 2016 Changes from last month: Construction drawings are complete. Bids were received on March 23 from 4 bidders. Funding availability was confirmed and PO has been issued. Construction will need to be completed before the Fall Semester. 4. New NCAA Outdoor Swimming Pool: Design and Construction of an outdoor Olympic-size pool and diving pool north of the existing Student Wellness Complex. TBD Construction TBD Changes from last month: Administration and Finance is analyzing the first contract for irregularities before reacting to the new fee proposal. No change this period. 5. Hodges Stadium Waterproofing Study: Engage a CM and a waterproofing specialist to study feasible solutions to prevent water intrusion into the finished spaces.. Tentative Schedule: Construction May – July 2016 Changes from last month: Ajax Construction mobilized May 2nd. Work will continue through July. 6. Arena Bridge Demolition: This project entails the demolition of the damaged bridge between the Arena and the Parking structure. Demolition will include the ceremonial stairs at the plaza. Changes from last month: A settlement was reached with the insurance carrier. Elkins GMP proposal has been accepted and work will start June 11th. Completion is scheduled for August 4th.
