April 11th from 2-4pm we will be at
the UNF Nature Trails to work out
your body and brain! This isn’t a race
so you can walk or run the 1.5 mile
Blueberry Trail at your own pace,
stopping at each of the exercise
stations to answer a financial
question before continuing to the
finish line. We will have snacks and
prizes in the Pavilion after the
challenge.
NATIONAL GO FOR BROKE DAY
April 5th is recognized as Go for Broke
Day. Many people take this holiday as a
chance to literally gamble their last
dollar and go broke. But as a college
student on a limited budget, spending
the last of your money doesn’t have to
be the only way you take a gamble. How
else can you celebrate?

Buy a lottery ticket. They range
from $1 to $10 so you can take a
chance without risking too much.

Muster up the courage to take a
new job offer, promotion or even
begin looking for a job more
relevant to your dreams and
aspirations!

Face your fears right on campus.
Climb the rock wall or go
canoeing!

OZZIE’$ TIP OF THE MONTH
Growing accustom to budgeting your
finances while still in college is an
essential skill that you will carry with you
into life after college. This April take the
time to grasp the idea of budgeting your
money and reap the benefits not only in
May, but forever. The great thing is that
you don’t have to be a finance major to
get the hang of it! The basics include
listing your income (scholarships,
income and money from home) and
comparing it to your expenses (rent,
food, books & tuition).
