OZZIE’$ TIP OF THE MONTH
It’s really easy and tempting to sign up
for a credit card. It’s not so easy to keep
track of how much you are spending,
when the payment is due, and what
extra fees you are paying. One mistake
can lead to a lower credit score and
other complications. If you do use a
credit card for expenses be sure to
follow these tips:

CREATE A SPRING BREAK
BUDGET!
1. If you haven’t started saving for
your Spring Break trip you may
want to start! The more you have
saved, the less you will stress
about how much you are
spending.
2. Make a list of the things you plan
to do while on Spring Break. That
way you will have an idea of how
much money it will take and how
much you should save each week.
FINANCIAL AID AUTHORIZATION
Federal financial aid cannot pay
miscellaneous
charges
(such
as
orientation and late fees) unless you
authorize it to do so. If you have charges
and do not authorize the aid, you must to
pay the fees yourself. Your account will
be placed on hold until they are paid.
Your refund will also be delayed. Follow
these steps to complete the authorization:
1. Log into myWings, student tab
2. Select “Student Self Service”
3. Select “Online Forms”
4. Select “Financial Aid Authorization”
and follow prompt

3. Look for vacation packages that
include activities in the price of the
package. You could get some
good discounts on activities and
get to do more things that you
enjoy without shelling out extra
money!
4. Stick to your budget. It may be
tempting to go out to breakfast,
lunch, and dinner while on
vacations, but if you only budgeted
for dinners out – then have
breakfast and lunch in your room
instead.
