Budget Mr. Hanson distributed the governor’s Proposal for California Community Colleges dated January 10, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. as listed below. These numbers confirm our need to cut $4M from this year’s budget. We will have to formalize the request to collective bargaining units to reopen their contracts. Once the request is received there will be two weeks to respond. Dr. Simon and Ms. Smith stated they would have to poll their members. Chief D’Amico distributed Senate Bill No. 1419, Chapter 894.
