Elements and Performance Criteria element 1 Implement the plan to manage the funding for the social service project. performance criteria 1.1 Accounting and audit procedures are implemented according to the plan. Range: 1.3 accountability - of self and other personnel, for financial management and utilisation of any other resources, to the agency and to the funder. Any other aspects of the plan are implemented according to the terms of the plan. Range: other aspects may include but are not limited to - designation or appointment of personnel responsible for handling funds, delegated authorities for management of income and expenditure, financial record keeping and reporting procedures for designated personnel, any training required for designated personnel related to management of funding or other resources, prescribed intervals for checks on income and expenditure, contract supervision, time line for completion of the social service project. element 2 Manage the budget for the social service project. performance criteria 2.1 The budget for the social service project is allocated according to the plan, the terms of the funding source, and service provider guidelines. 2.2 The management of funds by others is supervised according to the plan, delegated authorities, the terms of the funding source, and service provider guidelines. 2.3 Any modifications to the budget during the period of the project are consistent with the terms of the plan and are authorised in accordance with service provider guidelines.
