Audio forms of media may include radio advertising, feature programmes, interviews, news releases, press conferences, talk back; written forms of media may include newspaper, magazine, and journal articles, interviews, reports, press releases, letters, advertisements; visual forms of media may include computer networking, computer presentations, film, internet, overhead projection transparencies, photographs, slides, television, and video. 3 Sources of social services information are checked for confidentiality requirements before a decision is made to release to the news media. The scope and limits of confidentiality are defined through criteria established by legislation, ethical practice, and service provider guidelines. Range: 1.3 Presentation requirements are determined for different forms of media according to their value for social services purposes.
