People credited with this unit standard will be able to – apply
industry criteria established for an identified sector of
horticulture to assess the health and condition, maturity and
development, and commercial and social worth of individual
horticulture specimens, groups of specimens, and crops; and
prepare a report on the findings.

Open, but it is recommended that Unit 812, Conduct preharvest crop assessment be completed or equivalent skill
and knowledge be developed before credit is sought for this
unit standard.
