Evidence requirements 1.1 Near infra-red principles are explained in relation to the rapid technique instruments. 1.2 The rapid Kjeldahl process is explained in relation to the rapid technique instruments. 1.3 The other rapid instruments and the dairy products that they test are listed. Evidence requirements 2.1 The theory of Fluoresence is explained in relation to the rapid technique instruments. 2.2 The theory of Luminescence is explained in relation to the rapid technique instruments. 2.3 The theory of Impedance and Conductance is explained in relation to the rapid technique instruments. 2.4 The rapid technique instruments are listed and their application described. Evidence requirements 3.1 Rapid technique instruments are set up correctly as per the instructional or operating manuals on site. 3.2 Tests are conducted in accordance with dairy laboratory quality systems.
