People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of commonly used graphic files for interchanging information in the graphics industry, and describe ways a graphic file supplied by a client can be obtained and adapted for reproduction with specialist industry equipment. Evidence requirements 2.1 Description includes instruction/s to enable the client to provide a graphic file in a format suitable for nominated specialist equipment. 2.2 Description includes process for checking the file meets requirements of nominated specialist equipment. 2.3 Description includes various ways a supplied file can be adapted by editing for use on nominated specialist equipment.
