People credited with this unit standard are able to: produce
design roughs; draw artwork to scale; and transfer artwork full
size to prepared surface.

Explanatory notes
All work practices shall meet the requirements of relevant legislation, including Health and
Safety in Employment Act 1992, Resource Management Act 1991, and the requirements
of industry codes of practice and documented enterprise procedures in respect to health,
safety, and environmental matters.

Evidence requirements
3.1
Transfer method is selected which is economical and practical in terms of
surface and job specifications.
examples include but are not limited to – epidiascope, grid,
pounce, trace, freehand, projector.
