In August 2013 the Matriculation Committee and the Student Success Task Force groups from
the colleges was merged. The combined groups are now functioning under the title Student
Success and Support Program Committee (SSSP). The SSSP Committee is a subcommittee of
the District Education Committee and it has been meeting once a month since September 2013.
Due to the size of the committee a Working Group was developed to address the implementation
of the Senate Bill 1456 mandates. The SSSP Committee and the Working Group include
representatives from each college and the district. However, anyone can attend the meetings and
