Matriculation Student Success and Support Program (SSSP)
Reference: Education Code Sections 78210 et seq.; Title 5 Sections 55500 et. seq.
The District shall provide matriculation student success and support program (SSSP) services to
students for the purpose of furthering equality of access to postsecondary educational
opportunities and academic success. Ensuring students participate in a comprehensive set of
student support services early in the college enrollment process is a strategy focused on early
college preparation and support. The purpose of the student success and support program
(SSSP) is to bring the student and the District into agreement regarding prepare the student for
identification and completion of an educational goal through the District’s established
programs, policies, and requirements.
The CEO or designee shall establish procedures to assure implementation of matriculation the
student success and support program (SSSP) services that comply with the Title 5 regulations.
