Evidence requirements 1.1 Chemical data is located and interpreted to identify chemicals and precautions for their handling, storage, and usage. data – Hazchem code, chemical data sheets, material safety data sheets, container labels. Range 1.2 First aid procedures for exposure to each plant chemical are explained in accordance with its material safety data sheet. 1.3 Spill handling procedures for each plant chemical are located and described in terms of precautions and actions to be taken. 1.4 Hazards of each plant chemical are described in terms of their effect on personnel, plant, and environment.
