People credited with this standard are able to: prepare to clean hard furniture, fixtures, and fittings; clean hard furniture, fixtures, and fittings; polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings; and complete job-related tasks. Evidence requirements 2.1 Dust is removed without creating dust showers in accordance with industry best practice. 2.2 Damp wiping leaves surface soil and mark free in accordance with industry best practice. 2.3 Spot-treatment removes all stubborn marks and soil in accordance with industry best practice. 2.4 Surfaces are wiped free of solution in accordance with industry best practice. 2.5 Soiled solution is disposed of in accordance with the Resource Management Act 1991. Evidence requirements 3.1 Polish is applied to and removed from selected surfaces in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. 3.2 Appearance of buffed surface is smear and mark free in accordance with industry best practice. Outcome 4 Complete job-related tasks. Evidence requirements 4.1 Task is completed without risk or damage to cleaner, public, furniture, fixtures, or fittings. 4.2 Equipment is cleaned, checked and stored in accordance with industry best practice.
