Ian is Chairman of EMW Law LLP. He is also a Principal in the Corporate team,
currently the largest team of corporate lawyers between London and Birmingham.
The team were awarded Insider Dealmakers Corporate Law firm of the year for
two years running.
He has built a reputation throughout the region as an expert in leveraged buyouts. Ian has worked with private equity backed businesses at all stages of
development from early stage through to buy and build and exit. He has
extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions.
Recognised by The Legal 500 as a leading individual in the South East region,
Ian’s clients include entrepreneurs and regional, national and global businesses.
He is also one of the three founding Principals who started the firm in 1992, all of
whom are still with the firm.
