Third Grade
Third graders finished up their unit on
multiplication and division on Wednesday. They
began exploring decimals on Thursday and
Friday. Students will be ordering, comparing,
estimating and adding/subtracting decimals next
week.
Fourth Grade
Fourth grade students finished up their unit on
geometry and angles on Wednesday. The class
will be investigating different strategies to divide
decimals and whole numbers. Specifically,
students are using the partial-quotients method
to divide large and small numbers.
Fifth Grade
Fifth grade students started exploring
pre-algebra concepts this week. They identified
expressions and solved for x. Next week
students will explore visual patterns and graph
inequalities on a number line.
