Attached is a list of students in your
child’s class so that your child may
begin working on his/her valentines.
Our Valentine’s party will be on
Friday, Feb. 12th. We hope lots of
parents can come and attend our
party. I really encourage your child
to complete his or her own
valentines. This is great handwriting
practice for your child. It is easier
to work on a few each night.
Please have your child make a
valentine’s box or some type of
container to hold his/her valentines.
Please send the box to school before
Feb. 12th. You can use a shoebox or
any type of container and decorate
it. It doesn’t have to be fancy, but
does need to hold your child’s
valentines.

Look What’s Happening!
Language Arts – We will be learning
about the borrower sounds Cc and Xx.
Math – We will also continue working
on addition using our number lines.
We will also be creating ABBC
patterns. We had lot of fun with 100th
day Friday.
Science – We are learning about our
heart and how to keep it healthy.
Social Studies – We are learning
about our sixteenth president, Abraham
Lincoln and his part in freeing the
slaves.
