SNOW DAYs--- Shortened Newsletter

Attached is your child’s Six Flags- Read to Succeed log. IF your
child is participating, please read the letter and return the log NO
LATER than February, 28th, you may back log to February 4th
(that was the intended day for the log to go home…snow days). You
may count your child’s nightly reading towards the 360 minutes
(6hours) required to get a Six Flags Ticket plus additional reading
in order to meet the 360 minute goal.
CONFERENCES- All Monday (February 10th) Conferences
scheduled remain the same unless you contact me to let me know
otherwise. Thursday, February 6th conferences -- have been
rescheduled for Thursday, February 13th. PLEASE let me know if
this does not work for you as soon as possible, otherwise I look
forward to seeing you then. lisa.propst@jcschools.us
Your child’s Continents and Oceans Assessment will be next
Wednesday, February 12th. A study guide is attached. Be sure
your child reviews. I’m sure they have some “fun facts” to share
too!
If your child is exchanging Valentines be sure the cards are in a
marked bag/baggie and brought to school by Wednesday, February
12th. See class list on the reverse side. Students are making
decorative Valentine’s Day bags at school

include a parent’s initials.
Students may exchange Valentines. Please be sure to send the cards to school in a marked
bag by Wednesday, February 12th. Please encourage your child to write their classmates
name themselves. Students will be making Valentine’s bags at school. Below is our class list.
