POSITION DESCRIPTION TITLE: Manager CATEGORY: Professional EXTENDED TITLE: Manager, Student Support Service Program Exempt GRADE: D FLSA STATUS: JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing, planning, and the administration of a designated program. Additionally, the Manager is responsible for carrying out the goals and objectives of the Student Support Service Program (S.S.S.P.). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Initiate and coordinate all planning, development, scheduling, and evaluation of S.S.S.P. to include design and supervision of all program activities. YEARLY PERCENT OF TIME 40% 2. Establish and manage the evaluation of all program activities that include maintaining a database with student records and progress information and ensure compliance in reporting responsibilities. 20% 3. Manage and monitor contractual reporting requirements to include financial reports, budget, and expenditures. Ensure compliance with the requirements of the U.S. Department of Education and EPCCCD policies and regulations. 20% 4. Provide personnel management direction and guidance to staff, including orientation, performance appraisals, coaching, and professional development. 10% 5. Establish, coordinate, and maintain effective partnerships with other College entities such as instructional programs, support services, and student services as needed for the operation of S.S.S.P. 5% 6.
