Winter Intersession FAQs
Who can register for Intersession classes?
Matriculated Fresno State students, students who have been disqualified from Fresno State, students who are 18
years old or older and who have met the class prerequisites, and students who have never taken a Fresno State class
previously are eligible for Winter Intersession.
When will the schedule be out?
On October 14 the schedule will be posted on our website: www.fresnostate.edu/cge/intersession
When can I register?
Early registration takes place from October 30 through November 30. Enrollment will be frozen December 1-4. Registration for classes declared a “go” will resume December 5 through December 21. Register online at my.fresnostate.
edu. If you have any questions, please contact Continuing and Global Education, Kremen Education Building, Room
130. We’re open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Will an Intersession class count toward my degree?
Intersession classes earn resident credit. Ask your advisor if the class will meet your specific degree requirements.
How much are the fees and when are they due?
Fees are $290 per unit and are due on November 30. For enrollments on or after December 5, fees are due at the
time of registration. Beginning December 5, non-payment of fees cancels your online registration within 24 hours.
Payment of fees holds your place in class.
Can I use Financial Aid during Winter Intersession?
Financial aid is not available for Winter Intersession. What is the chance of my course being cancelled?
If a class has insufficient enrollment, it will be cancelled. On December 5, the list of cancelled classes will be
posted on the Continuing and Global Education website: www.fresnostate.edu/cge/intersession. If your class is
cancelled, you may enroll in a different Intersession class, or you will receive an automatic refund.
When will my grade be posted?
Grades can be accessed after January 16, 2016, at my.csufresno.edu
What student services will be in operation during Intersession?
The Kennel Bookstore, Madden Library, Health and Psychological Services and some Food Court restaurants will be
open, but perhaps with reduced hours. Parking permits are required.
