Cameron University foreign languages department
to offer intersession course in beginning Spanish
New and returning college students from all disciplines can get a jump-start in learning Spanish, thanks to
an accelerated intersession course offered at Cameron University during its summer intersession.
The course, Beginning Spanish I (Spanish 1113, Call No. 1224), offers students a chance to earn three
credit hours in less than three weeks. The class meets weekdays from July 30 to Aug. 18, from 9-11:50
a.m.
Cameron’s foreign language offerings are among the best in the nation. In fact, it is one of the few
universities in the Southwest U.S. with an extensive summer program in foreign languages.
For details on the class, contact the CU Department of Foreign Languages at 580/581-2272 or course
instructor Misael Santiago at 580/581-2330.
