Matters Arising
(a) Ramphal Building CTTRs (38/12-13 refers).
TO RECEIVE
An oral update from the Conferences Senior Duty Manager regarding the difficulties posed by the
trolleys to store furniture on in the Ramphal Building CTTRs.
(b) Social Studies Refurb (10/12-13 refers)
TO REPORT:
That the Chair approved final spend for the refurbishment of the Social Studies lecture room at the cost
of £126,724.02 plus VAT.

Chair’s Business
(a) Whiteboard in A005
TO REPORT:
That the Furniture and Equipment Officer had been notified that the Whiteboard in A005 needed
replacing, subsequently the Chair had taken Chair’s Action on behalf of the Refurb Group and given
approval for the work to be carried out at the sum of £68.04 plus VAT.
(b) LIB1 and LIB2 (minute 54/12-13 refers)
TO REPORT:
That the Chair had taken Chair’s Action on behalf of the Refurb Group to approve spend of £22,288.00
plus VAT from the Refurb Group budget on replacing the furniture in LIB1 and LIB2.
(c) Blinds In The Science Concourse B-Rooms (minute 42/12-13 refers)
TO REPORT:
That the Chair approved final spend for removal of the blinds in the Science Concourse B-Rooms at the
cost of £1,569.00 plus VAT.
